Get to Know Me

Loss is a quiet grief that doesn't conform to the world's pace, especially when we need stillness as well as acknowledgment. Whether your loss involves a companion animal, a relationship, a career path, or a life that looks OK to others but feels hollow to you, your circumstances deserve to be honored and processed with care.

For many years, I have been drawn to working with people who carry more than they can say out loud. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, where I sat with families as they navigated some of their toughest moments. Those experiences, as well as my own, inspired me to become a therapist and have informed and shaped how I understand deep pain.

I employ a variety of professional modalities, along with humor and a touch of sharp wit, when working with clients, centering them as they move forward with their lives. Grief is not a problem to solve, regardless of the type of loss you're experiencing, what others say, or what hustle culture expects from you.

My Commitment to Affirming Care

I am an individual actively doing the work in my personal life and in how I support all communities. I provide respectful, affirming, and culturally-informed care for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, couples, plus anyone navigating identity, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions across New York State. Who you are isn't just welcomed here, I view it as central to our work together.

Credentials and Experience
